Hi, thanks for working on viewtopic.php?p=666476 ! I still seem to be having issues with my aquilo fusion blueprint unfortunately.
1. What did you do?
Built a fusion plant using an existing blueprint that is supposed to support 2.4 GW out of the box (48 generators)
2. What happened?
14 of the generators are offline and will never receive plasma when initially placed (the exact number offline is not always the same, though there are common patterns of offline generators that show up). But if I deconstruct and reconstruct generators that are offline, or sometimes the generator that is supposed to be feeding an offline generator, I can eventually get them to all run.
3. What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
My fusion blueprint works correctly on initial placement no matter what order I place the generators with all generators able to receive plasma
4. Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
I don't think I've ever built this blueprint and had it work 100% the first time. But sometimes more or fewer generators are offline. And I can always get it to work eventually with enough deconstruction and reconstruction. So I suspect if I lucked into exactly the right build order the first time the problem wouldn't occur.
I attached a save file with two examples of the fusion plant. The one on the left is broken, 14/48 generators are offline. The electric energy interface is set up to draw 1.7 GW and is very slowly draining the built in accumulator. The one on the right was initially broken but deconstructed and reconstructed generators until it worked. The electric energy interface is set to draw 2.3 GW. That plus the draw from the reactors and the cryo plants and inserters is just below 2.4 GW so the plant is self sustaining. I also attached the log.

Unfortunately, there is never going to be a 100% foolproof solution to this. The new system is a lot more resilient to update-order-dependence than the old system was, but it still isn't perfect because it remains as a one-pass system.
In this case, you can fix the issue by temporarily removing the electrical load to allow all fusion generators to back up with plasma. Once they are all full of plasma, they should continue to work consistently unless they become starved of plasma again.
