[2.0.43] Any? liquid goes through fusion reactor

Post by Dixi »

When modifying space platform I accidently put a Fusion Reactor cooling port near Thruster Fuel pipeline. It attached, and thruster fuel goes through both reactors to a storage tank, that was expected to store coolant.

I'm not sure is it a bug or feature.
Usually a structure, if it's not a container, consume only liquids it can process or use.

When it happened, storage tank for coolant had about 800 cold fluoroketone, and was displaying mix of liquids, when clicked - both liquids were present. Since is was almost full with thruster fuel, visualization shows if fuel colored.
As I remember, Factorio, for now, says, that liquids should not mix, and pipes will not connect to a system with another liquid inside. I may suppose that connection happens, because I added another Fusion Reactor, that was empty at the moment of placement.

Thanks for the report. This is currently intended: pass-through fluid connections let any fluids pass through.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
