[boskid][2.0.18] Programmable speaker "show icon on map" toggle ignored when an alert is already active

Post by arl85 »

If an alert is already underway, toggling "show icon on map" seems to have no effect.

In following video, an alert is underway, with no "show icon on map"; toggling it while the alert is active does NOT make the alert visible on map.

The opposite is also true: disabling the show icon on map does NOT make icon disappear.

In other words, that option seems to be only considered when alert is triggered

Also regarding the programmable speaker (did not want to make a new thread, since it's the same device):

It completely ignores the quality level of the icon
First, on the map icon itself, and also on the GUI notifications, and stacks the same icons on top of each other, even of they have different quality levels, see attachment:
the speakers in my screenshot are set to legendary solid fuel, epic solid fuel and normal solid fuel icon each.
Tested on 2.0.15, with the quality mod (obviously) with and without space age

edit: Also tested on 2.0.18, behaves the same
