I found a bug that allows you to get infinite rot.
Reproduction:
Assembly machine 2, biochamber recipe.
When crafting, if the nutrients have less life time left than the crafting time, then while the craft is being created, rot appears in the output slot, but the craft continues and is completed.
That is, I doubled the nutrients, spending half on rot.

But does this scale? Can you really get infinite spoilage from it? Or do you just get too much spoilage one time?
Seems like it would take a lot of micromanagement to get this scenario to really produce "infinite" spoilage.

I don't know how exactly this bug can be used usefully. It looks more like a cashback.
But in any case, this is generating items out of nowhere, is it supposed to work like that?
You need to check other items for damage using the same mechanics, maybe it will work with eggs too

Can you please post a save file showing what you're describing?
It sounds like the nutrients have yet to be consumed, they spoil, and the machine finishes crafting as expected and also produces its results - which is all correct. The neutrients get consumed and converted into fuel (the red bar). The ones not yet consumed can spoil and turn into spoilage.
