[1.1.110] Steam doesn't want to downgrade from 2.0 back to 1.0

I want to continue working on my 1.0 save until every mod gets ported to 2.0, however Steam doesn't downgrade to 1.0. When selecting 1.1.110 in the "Beta" menu in steam, it starts downloading but somehow the latest version stays the same.

I assume you got 1.1.110 on steam through the Betas branch. Could you try turning on and then turn off the "Factorio: Space Age" on the DLC page?

You can also Download Archived Versions directly from the Factorio Website. The ZIP flavors are self-contained, so you can run different Versions side-by-side without conflicts.

Re-enabling and disabling the DLC worked after reinstalling the game. Really weird and unintuitive behaviour. Must be an issue on steam's side of things. I’ve contacted steam support regarding this.
