You can no longer quickly glance at a beacon to see the total sum of the effects before/after the distribution efficiency, hard when you mix types and qualities.
This should show the values of all the modules summed up together, the distribution efficiency / profile / nearby beacons is irrelevant, just the module sums.

Re: [2.0.33] beacons in 2.0 don't list their effects in the sidebar
Thanks for the report however this is intended. Since beacon effects depend on the number of beacons touching a given thing showing the beacon effect on the beacon is mostly meaningless.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Mostly meaningless i can agree with, however it still has value, being able to see what a beacon tries to transmit provides some excellent utility.
Heck, i didn't even actively realize 4 speed modules in a beacon provides more speed than 4 speed modules directly in the machine, sure it does says a 1.5 transmission efficiency but coming from pre-2.0 its basically engrained that you should always put modules inside the machine first for the best benefit, having the effects spelled out would have made me realize it sooner, and if you have modded beacons with like 10 module slots (like space exploration does) it would be quite nice to just get the total transmission sum of a beacon since it would be rather impractical to count those up in one's head, example pics over in #7411.
So yeah i would like to urge the devs to reconsider, some more info in the beacon's sidebar would still be rather valuable over the nothing we have now.

The beacon tooltip is especially useful given that transmission efficiency can vary by quality and it's annoying to napkin that for every beacon
