Wanted to share my latest experiments with AIs, i recommend playing it loud on your spaceship, instead of waiting, if everything works fine and nothing is to be done in remote view while traveling somewhere :

I choosed the monkey somewhat for the same reasons than what i read is the reason a monkey is starring the biopic of Robbie Williams, ( which i assume is what you meant ) as i feel like a monkey about music or space. But i had not realized "better man" was not a planet of the ape movie until you asked x) and i had not seen the movie nor realized it was the case in it.

It relate also to several other things in my mind actually, there was this article i saw on the discord about how it's just the beginning of the "space age", and i thought it was fitting to use a monkey in space to illustrate how it feels to be at the primitive stage of something, anachronistic somewhat, as maybe in 500 years people ( or skynet) would look back and consider that humans made of meat, like primate in space was a very short period of time in history.

I also have this thought that if you give a monkey, or an AI, unlimited amount of time to type in a keyboard, it would eventually write a symphony or a Shakespear's book, that's how i read randomness and unconceivable amount of time combined works. But if you lower the bar for the expected result and you guide it as much as you can it takes less time to get something you find funny

The video editing is not good, it is too repetitive and the monkey's face and jacket color changes in different gifs. There are much better AI generated videos on youtube, it is barely synchronized with the music which has non-sensical lyrics at the beginning and end, and bits in the middle here and there.

thank you for your expert feedback, for the lyrics they are from me and i would be happy to explain the nuances of the sentences whose meaning remain cryptic to you, however i'd like to point out that it's also not necessarily meant to relate to something precise in the mind of the person who listen to, it's perfectly fine to not get the meaning of everthing and make it up with your imagination.

Now for the video (made just because you can only upload mp4 not mp3 on this forum), it was made from an AI generated image, which was then AI animated into several little Gifs as you mentionned, ( which explains the different faces and color changes) but it's me who edited them into a video and tried to sync them to the music. I realize now i maybe should have searched for an AI to do the montage for a bit longer x) or maybe use more differents gifs, or another software for the editing for it to not look like a bunch of gifs, maybe different camera angle too. The next one will be better ! I will spend more time doing the next video

You can pay attention to the lyrics of this original piece of philosophy : Running Away (1978) - Bob Marley & The Wailers , this is like a proverb to me, like a concept that sometimes one can think relate to real life events, or characters, or other situations that are inspired by video games or other fictionnal universe. The idea that engineer start on a planet like Nauvis and it could happen to not like it and try to go to another one, and another one and another one, or maybe the spagetthi has grown beyond control in Nauvis, and it feel like escaping and starting over, like fleeing the mess, but using a spaceship, not just train, or exoskeletons, to build beyond a desert or an ocean to have more room, really going off to another planet where you couldn't go by just "running away" to. Instead you need to use a spaceship ! it's the ultimate means of escaping ! It can be seen as a modern twist to an old concept or maybe two hopefully, the idea that technology is often sought to as the solution to mask the symptoms of a problem instead of searching for the cause. As it's a bit of an illusion to think "building aside" will help solve a mess in Nauvis, it's like a trap, but it can buy some time, where you don't need to think about the messy area, and maybe ultimately you get rid of it as you don't go there anymore.

It's at the beginning of the song, before the excitation that is felt when you build the spaceship, and it grows inside you until it is finally ready, but then there all those little details that makes it not as fast as you thought it would be.The sour feel is quickly drowned and forgotten though. Then it's all about the spaceship and the pride that goes with it, obviously, the bigger the spaceship the more powerful you feel. Especially when you have a red button, that's like the pinacle of it. You can use mods like the pushbutton or lamps or even consider the constant combinator is red, to have a real red button that gives you a reward when you press it, like a funny sound for dopamine shot, or a visual effect to hightlight some contraptions, the kind of stuff that you'd want to show off to other people, posting blueprints in between 2 braggings, or in multiplayer.

But then it's like a reality check sometimes, it doesn't work, there's some bugs, it's broken, and the "what did you do to ?" or "has anyone touched this ?" is a comon theme i found on multiplayer chat amongst player. I suppose it fit with a pattern of escaping, wether physically or more figuratively, espacing responsability, blame and / or accounting. And it fits the famous observation that most of the time it works, except when you want to show it to someone for whom you think it will matter more than usually. This is often the case in factorio, and it can end up that one that was going to show something off end up with a broken thing, and then ask for others to provide things to make up for the lack of the thing that was supposdely going to be shown and was so much advertised ( especially when players play on different planets ). I noticed you seemed to mention the area you may have perceived as moralizing so i felt like explaining some more those in particular.
