I keep getting massive UPS drops and they stick down at around 3-5. I have to load a previous save to solve it. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason behind it. Repeating the activity I was doing when it happens doesn't always trigger it again. First, It happened very infrequently then stopped for about 35 hours of gameplay so I thought it has solved itself. Now however it is so constant that I've had to abandon my base which I was really enjoying.
It's not related to PC performance. My CPU and Memory usage are super low while playing and my GPU is more than capable.
When It does happen, the entity count under time usage just seems to start sky-rocketing, it just seems to constantly climb and climb. The game doesn't crash but of course nothing can be done in game.
I've loaded up some older, larger bases and can't seem to replicate the problem.
Wondering if anyone know what could be causing this and / or how to fix it?
Would love to salvage this save file so much.

Some extra notes:
Thought it was related to robo ports at first as it happened when I used them. But then I went for many hours using them with no problems.
What suddenly seems to be casusing it to occur constantly is going near my main bus / production area. This however didn't trigger it until about 5 hours ago.
