[2.0.30][Switch] Error loading Scenario from 1.1

Post by eugenekay »

What did you do?
- Updated Switch from 1.1 to 2.0
- Tried to Edit Scenario previously created
What happened?

What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
Scenario would load.
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
I only have 1 Console to test on, and I do not know if it is possible to downgrade the Game to test?
It does not occur on Scenarios newly created with 2.0.

I don’t think there is any way to export Save game data or logs from a Production console?

Unfortunately, because of the poor architecture, updating custom scenarios is not done automatically. It's is considered that a custom scenario should be updated by it's author. I realize on Nintendo Switch it's not possible.

In the latest version (2.0.32), which should be released on Nintendo Switch within a week, you can work around this issue by creating a new game from the scenario and then using the /editor command.

Despite being marked as “Won’t Fix”, I can confirm that my 1.1 Scenario is loading just fine in the Map Editor as of Version 2.0.32:

So, thank you very much!
