Inserter “target full”
I have experienced two times now where an inserter refuses to do its job because it claims that the “target is full” on an empty belt, not connected to any logistics network & facing the correct way. The way I had to fix this both times was to remove it and place it down again. If it helps to know, they were taking out of an assembly machine and placing onto a belt. Minor issue, confusing though.

Thanks for the report however without a save and or steps to reproduce there is nothing we can do.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Happens on [2.0.32]. Attaching screenshot and save. My muppet is standing right next to the faulty inserter.
I noticed that this happens when one ingredient in assembler is missing. I was able to reproduce that issue this way.

The inserters state is correct, the inserted rail is damaged and undamaged rail cannot be stacked.Niedzwiedzislaw wrote: Tue Feb 04, 2025 11:40 am Happens on [2.0.32]. Attaching screenshot and save. My muppet is standing right next to the faulty inserter.

Thanks for explaining that. That's not a bug then. I guess there's no way to filter out damaged items. No matter, monitoring the factory always was always part of the game.
