Hi Factorio devs!
I know they're not super common, but I got myself a new screen a little while back, and when trying to play factorio, I don't have a single option to adjust the resolution. This used to be fine, but when playing on my laptop at 5120x2880, that's just too much for the onboard GPU, even though it's a AMD 780M, which handles factorio fine at 4k.
I know there's a setting called "render-in-native-resolution". When I uncheck that, I thought it might use the scaled back version (1440p in my case, which would be *perfect*), but it doesn't seem to do anything. Guessing this is MacOS only?
It would be nice if you either detected 200% levels as retina, regardless of OS, or have support for a 0.5x render resolution?
Anyway, thanks for your time!
Greetings
Jan

Re: Support for "Windows Retina" displays
I've been adapting Factorio to MacOS for a couple of months now, maybe I'll look at some useful tools in this thread - - viewtopic.php?p=666648#p666648
This tool also adopt resolution for macOS -
