{I saw this issue in another post, but I am posting for awareness since the other posts didn't have any replies}
This issue occurs at all times (including menu screens, new games and in vanilla.) The game has a jittery, stuttery, janky feeling from lots of dropped frames or micro-pauses which is most noticable when the character moves. The stutter is obvious and it doesn't feel good. It feels like when a whole lot of artillery goes off all at once and the game slows down.
This happens in vanilla, no mods. Turning down/off all graphical settings does not solve the issue. I do not have any programs or downloads in the background. System is Kubuntu 24, AMD 7600x, Nvidia 4070ti, 32g ram.
I am posting a screenshot of the game to show mangohud overlay for fps graph and cpu usage. Paste of my latest log https://pastebin.com/5tm3KVfS
Thanks for looking into this!
[2.0.28][linux] Game stutters
Re: [2.0.28][linux] Game stutters
Do you experience the stutters when you turn off any monitoring HUD/overlay?
I ask, because I experienced something similar (a stutter every couple of seconds). It turned out that the stutters matched the refresh rate of the monitoring HUD/overlay. (My monitoring HUD was turned on full-time to monitor my streaming performance)

yes, I only installed the overlay to see if there was data I could report ... I don't normally play with it if there is not a problemfmaw wrote: Mon Jan 20, 2025 3:49 pm Do you experience the stutters when you turn off any monitoring HUD/overlay?
