[2.0.28] Changing Recipe via circuits can cause modules to be removed

Post by The_Red_Menace »

I have a circuit set up that changes the crafting recipe of a crusher between regular crushing and recycling.
The crusher has productivity modules in it, which is allowed for regular crushing.
When the recipe changes to asteroid recycling the productivity modules (which are no longer useable on this recipe) get moved to the dump inventory (?), and then get removed by inserters.
This seems like unintended behaviour.

Apologies if this has already been reported / addressed.

What else do you expect to happen?
I guess they could be kept in the machine but be "disabled", but with the current approach you can use inserters to put in different modules that are supported.
