Space age on Steam still playable after refund

After refunding Space age on Steam the Space Age content is still there and playable even after the refund goes through. Not sure if there is anything that can be done on your end to prevent people from potentially taking advantage of that (if not, feel free to delete this post to prevent further attention being brought to it). Verifying files did remove some things, but Space Age content was still in the mods list section. Reinstalling "reset" it properly.

For those that may be curious, I intend to purchase it again in the future, but I just bought base Factorio about a week ago and am still doing my first run. I didn't realize that Space Age would change some of the base game experience, so I'm waiting until I complete this run before I start a new one with Space Age

Interesting observation. BTW, disabling the Space Age mods in the mod manager reverts the entire game to the exact vanilla experience (so that you can still join vanilla multiplayer servers, for example).

Thanks for the report. Factorio doesn't do any phoning home on startup to see if you're able to play the game so this is expected. Steam apparently doesn't re-validate game files on refunding the game either so this is what happens.

All things considered, there's nothing else we're going to do about this.
