Dear engineers,

I didn’t trust myself to handle this game because it’s look complicated to me. But right now I understand the basics. Unfortunately I have a problem about the production of the iron plates. Plates production not enough my other productions. Could you please share your experience to me. How you solved the problems at your first time ? Can you give me some suggestions ?Thanks you already.

Most production issues can be resolved by building more/bigger.

Need more iron plates? Build more iron smelters.
Need more iron ore for the smelters? Find another iron ore patch and mine it.

1 lane of belts insufficient to service production? Add another lane.

I deliberately didn't include an images or links as I didn't want to inadvertently include spoilers, but if you want some more ideas, look up "smelter array" and/or "bus".

Don't limit yourself by building just one production machine (ore miner, assembling machine) for a given item. Ore resource patches are supposed to be covered by a bunch of miners, so 4-8 belts can flow items out of it. Don't hesitate to build a line of 10, 20, 30, 40 furnaces in a row to smelt ore to plates. Do the same with long running recipes: if you have some recipe that's running for 10 seconds but you want an item every 2 seconds, build 5 assembling machines for this item.
