When I revert to v2.0.10 it still works fine.

Nope.

The logic is entirely client-side, so clients need to run it.

Something strange is going on. A new version of this tool, v1.0.13, was released today. It states to be an adjustment for 2.0.18 despite the latest stable Factorio version being 2.0.28 and despite the fact that the previous version of the tool, v1.0.12, still works for version.

When attempting to download the new v1.0.13 of FactorioAchievementEnabler, it is recognized by Windows Defender as a virus.

Something strange is going on. A new version of this tool, v1.0.13, was released today. It states to be an adjustment for 2.0.18 despite the latest stable Factorio version being 2.0.28 and despite the fact that the previous version of the tool, v1.0.12, still works for version.

When attempting to download the new v1.0.13 of FactorioAchievementEnabler, it is recognized by Windows Defender as a virus.

Well, it's open source, so if you don't trust it you can download the sourcr and compile it yourself.

And this lists the change in this version (only one byte, plus some comments have changed)

The commit message also says it's for 2.0.28, so my guess is that 2.0.18 was just a typo.

~~I haven't earned any achievements since 2.0.28 came out, so I don't know if this fix is actually necessary, but it's probably worth updating just in case.~~ I just got an achievement ingame and on steam with the old version, I'll test my next achievement with the new version to see if there's a difference.

Interesting. Windows Defender no longer flags it as a virus. Perhaps it’s because it was a brand new file, thus not many people had downloaded it yet. It was most likely a false positive. The VirusTotal scan is clean, too.
