Fix promethium science tech prerequisites

Railguns are required to reach system edge, but they aren’t a prerequisite of the technology that unlocks the destination. Also, fusion power isn’t required for this at all, and yet it is a prerequisite. This makes no sense, and feels like some kind of leftover from earlier development. It should be fixed.

Railgun as Required Pre-req for Promethium Science

While looking at the remaining technologies to research I noticed that the Railgun is not a required prerequisite for the Promethium science. Since the huge asteroids have a 99% resistance to explosive damage and 3000 defense against physical damage, railguns are an in-game requirement to be able to get to the solar system edge.

I use the technology tree as a sort of tutorial and guide for what to do in the game and could see others doing the same. It feels like it would make sense from a player education perspective to at least hint to using the railguns in space by making it a requirement to be able to research the unlock for the solar system edge.

The rocket turret is already a requirement for Aquilo, this feels very similar to that.

It’s definitely an oddity, surely a leftover from the pre-release tech tree. I’ve seen it (some of the playtesters were in the factorio discord, and were allowed to post things after the NDA lifted), and it went through a large amount of restructuring in a pretty short time.

Only a week before release: Fusion power cells were a separate tech from fusion reactors, heating towers were a science pack tech, the farming tower tech was triggered by mining some random specific decorative tree, tesla turrets were a prerequisite tech for Aquilo discovery…

It makes sense that at least one such anomaly managed to slip through the cracks and remain in the release version.
