Large inventories are annoying to search for items manually. With hubs now providing ridiculously large inventories this issue is further exacerbated. The items also move a lot in sorted inventories when bots move items quickly. This is annoying, whenever I want to take something out of the hub it's less painful to create a logistic request for it than do it manually. There's also a performance problem when slot count hits tens of thousands (I have max inventory size on my hub and it takes a second to open and is impossible to navigate manually with bots taking tens of thousands of items per second out)
I propose an alternative way to show inventories (could be alt+click for example), where the items are not in slots, but instead are presented as an ordered list with total item counts. Similarly to how the items appear in the tooltip/loginetwork. Manual insertion/removal follows inserter logic. This would make it easier to look for a particular item, and improve performance for large inventories.

Alternative way to view and interact with inventories.

You can already get a List of items in the Platform Hub by connecting it to a Circuit Network, sorted automatically by the Number of items of each type:
Good Luck!
There is no performance impact from mousing-over an Electric Pole to display these values.Good Luck!
