Who did that? And why was it considered off topic? Are bug reports not welcome any more?

You are not reporting a bug, you are requesting a feature.

Ok, so you are saying it is intended that trains are hardly visible? To make the game harder? Or why would you consider it a feature request? Just because something has been broken from the beginning doesn't mean it's not a bug. Instead of deleting it, you could have moved it to minor issues. Aside from that it would be very easy to fix it.
