Version is 2.0.23 (latest stable). No mods other than base, elevated rail, quality, space age.
While my character is on Nauvis, I have a tank on Vulcanus ready to remote drive and attack a medium demolisher with uranium cannon shells. I died in various stupid ways and save-scummed several times. I also killed the demolisher once but save-scummed again because I'd accidentally killed my tank-carrier spidertron with a stray shell. Eventually I successfully killed it with no losses, but around the time the last of its eruption animations finished, I got the "Unexpected error occurred ... Would you like to open the folder containing the log file?" dialog and the game exited.
7460.744 Error CrashHandler.cpp:641: Received SIGSEGV
I checked in the bug reports subforums and in the release logs for anything related. There are some that seem related but I did not find anything that is clearly an exact duplicate:
- 2.0.24 123308 is a crash when a demolisher is killed, but it's "as a direct result of attacking something" with a mod, whereas my crash occured shortly after a demolisher was killed by being shot with uranium cannon shells in an unmodded game.
- 2.0.14 118639 is another crash when demolishers die which was already fixed in a past version
- 120275 also caught my attention since my crash didn't actually occur right when the demolisher was killed, but rather a little later as some of its animations/particles/etc ended. But this report is about demolishers' graphics just causing performance issues not an outright crash
