Maximum in Roboport Requests

Post by JayMan146 »

TL;DR
It would be nice to set maximums like you can with logistics requests in roboport requests.

What?
There isn't much to add here, so just TL;DR.
Why?
I think it would be very useful in situation where you don't want bots plugging up one roboport, such as a roboport where you put automated bots into. Plus, you could keep logisitics bots from staying in your outposts, or other things like that.

Don't you want a maximum ? I think there is already a minimum.

One very janky workaround to this is putting a request in a roboport for a type of bot that you do not have anywhere in your network (i.e. an epic quality logi bot), then set that to stack size x however many slots you want to keep open.

I have a robot logi request called "get this shit out of here" that is just 350 epic quality logi bots, and use that on roboports that have bots being inserted into them. It is really funny to watch all the bots get inserted then immediately bail out of that roboport and run away from it like a bat out of hell. Almost like they know the punishment for staying in there and blocking more things coming in is death.

this should work, but it would be nice to have an actual implementation. if your factory actually starts making high quality bots that won't work
