Hello, i have been playing multiplayer with a couple friends since space age came out.
But in the last few weeks my FPS has dropped to 5/10FPS while the UPs has stayed around 60.
Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, 3060 12GB, 16GB RAM
Below i have attached a screenshot of the time usage and performance stats. Would love some help to get to the bottom of what is causing this, have changed graphic settings etc.
Low FPS, normal UPS

Re: Low FPS, normal UPS
Looks like you are too slow for the server, you have not enabled the debug settings that would clearly show that though.
Re: Low FPS, normal UPS
How would one enable that?
Re: Low FPS, normal UPS
Yeah, it looks like your computer can just barely keep up with the server, so it's dropping frames so that it doesn't fall behind. (If you can't simulate the game at the same speeds as the server, you won't be able to join or it will kick you.)
One way to fix this would be to slow the game down slightly. Running the command "/c game.speed = 0.9" in the console (the same place you put chat messages) will make the game run at 90% speed, which should be more than enough to give your computer a bit of breathing room.
(Note: doing this will disable achievements)

There are 10 types of people: those who get this joke and those who don't.
Re: Low FPS, normal UPS
Okay, thank you guys for the help! have reduced the game speed to 0.8 and has fixed the issue. Sucks though.

By the way, it looks like "entity update" is taking the most time. There is a separate debug view that shows which entity type takes how much time. I'd be curious to see which entity it is. In our save this is dominated by "Unit" which is mostly biters. I'm curious to see what happens in your save. Especially since you are also on an AMD CPU that my friends have as well.
