[2.0.23] Blueprinting does not copy tiles below objects in space

Post by sben »

What did you do? What happened?

When copying/blueprinting space platforms, the platform foundations below the selected entites are selected only if they fall into the selection rectangle.

This means, if the selections contain buildings that are not fully enclosed in the selection rectangle, there are no foundations below parts of the building.

When trying to construct the blueprint: "Error: cannot build on empty space".

What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!

The foundations to be contained in the blueprint, since without foundations below the buildings, the blueprints cannot be built.

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?

Always

Thank you for the report, however this is not a bug in my opinion.

You can get around the "cannot build" error by force-building (with shift by default), at least in umodded cases.
