is belt creep a new thing?

Post by bobDoesThings »

I just noticed items on one side of a belt moving along at a very slow pace. Is this something new?

Is the whole thing a loop? Belts can slow down/ stop if they're full in a loop. The sides are independent in this way.

Yes, it's a loop. Just seemed funny the difference in speed of the two sides, plus I don't remember seeing anything continuously at such a slow speed.

It may just be stroboscopic flicker due to the frame rate, moving items at a rational fraction of your frame rate it might look like nothing is moving if all items are identical. It's not so noticeable with ore etc. because there are different ore sprites.
