Steps to reproduce:
1. Read the "Tips and tricks" entry on "Heating mechanics": "Every entity needs to be touching a heat source order to not freeze. The exception is electric poles, [Entity: Solar panel] and [Entity: Accumulator].
2. Build an offshore pump on Aquilo. Do not connect to heat.
3. Build a storage tank at the outlet of the offshore pump. Do not connect to heat.
Expected result:
Both structures should freeze based on the Tips and tricks.
Actual result:
Only the storage tank freezes. If heat is applied to the storage tank then it will begin to fill with Ammoniacal solution.
I honestly can't tell if current behaviour is intended and I can make an argument both ways for freezing an offshore pump. If the current behaviour is intended then please add offshore pumps to the exceptions list in the Tips and tricks. If it is intended that the player discover which entities require heat (there are a few others which are more obvious exceptions such as rail infrastructure), please change the text to read "Most entities need to be touching a heat source [...]" and "Exceptions include [...]".

That's not a bug.
Re: [2.0.23] Offshore pump does not require heat on Aquilo
Can you advise me where documentation issues should be filed then? I thought they were supposed to be in this forum.
Re: [2.0.23] Offshore pump does not require heat on Aquilo
There is no aspiration to provide complete ingame documentation. You can close the gaps by simply playing, or look it up outside the game.

Understood, thanks for clarifying the policy.
