Ok, so I have everything working... mostly. I am on Aquilo and ready to transform all my systems to high tier production chains. But I am a little stuck on the space platform functionality. For instance, I am requesting bioflux, and spoilage from Gleba to Nauvis on two separate space stations. However, when they arrive at Nauvis, they do not unload the spoilage. Even though there is a shortage of spoilage on Nauvis.
Now I don't know how to word my question exactly so that you can help me, but I will try.
If I set up a request at Nauvis named "Nauvis Imports" and set the items I want and the min/max amounts, then use that request on each of the stations that serve Nauvis, what other settings, checkboxes, requests, or circuitry do I need to set up in order to receive the items I am asking for?
Second, if I do the same for each planet, is that all I need to do? Or do I need to have some other request on the space station that actually tells it to unload at the appropriate planet?
I hope my questions are clear enough, but feel free to ask for more info.
Thanks for your help.

Re: I need help with interplanetary logistics
Are you requesting the items on another space platform? Space platforms only deliver to landing pads on the ground, they can't drop things to other space platforms.
So if you wanted to ship bioflux from Gleba to Nauvis, what you would do is gives your spaceship that goes to Gleba a request for Bioflux (and make sure that request is set to import from Gleba, as requests are specific to each planet). Then, you would give your landing pad on Nauvis a request for Bioflux. You could use one logistic group and give it to both the landing pad and the spaceship if you want.
Then your ship should automatically drop bioflux when it gets to Nauvis.
Sorry if I misunderstood anything - hopefully that is helpful.

If you haven't already, look up 'cargo pod spam.' Basically if you have a request for 200 space science, and your single landing pad drops to 199, it asks for ONE science pack, which your science production platform happily sends... every few seconds. As you add more logistic requests, you get more and more cargo pods dropping with one or two items. In hardly any time, all your cargo pods are queued waiting to land and it looks like nothing is being imported. Basically you need to have controls that either prevent your landing pad from asking for items until it needs a pod full, or that prevents your space platforms from responding to requests until it can send a pod full.
