Currently the all qualities option is available in filters but not signal conditions.
I'd like if it were available in signal conditions as well and just summed them all.
My particular usecase is ore trains that have mixed quality that I'm unloading in one place.
Currently I can't count ALL the ore in there, so I end up counting only the normal stuff, which throws off my circuit based balancers.
Also paramaterized blueprints of these stations is weird, I set the parameter to copper ore any quality, what actually gets set on the inserters is condition copper ore normal quality and filter param zero any quality.
Can wildcard quality work in circuit conditions and just sum all the per quality signals.

Add "Any" to the Quality Transfer function on comparators
TL;DR
Add the "Any" quality option to Quality Transfer comparators for setting filtering by signalsWhat?
Add the "Any" quality type to the below menu in comparators, allowing you to output an item signal with a quality of "Any" to buildings that accept filter settings via signalWhy?
Allows you to automatically set an Any Quality filter on structures via signals which is otherwise only doable by manual-setting. In the particular scenario inspiring this post, I have a recycler for failed quality items and I would like to automatically set the filters on the inserters removing items so they automatically get matched to the correct belts for merging later with no manual rigging for each use of the blueprint. Currently this can only be done (with my limited circuit knowledge) with 5 comparators for each item type so that every quality is covered instead of a single filter-

Add "Any Quality" to circuit filter options
TL;DR
When setting a circuit filter, the quality toggle should include an explicit "any quality" (:any-quality:) option in addition to the individual quality options. What?
The inserter filter quality toggle includes an "any quality" option, while the circuit filter does not. Why?
Without this option, setting up quality-agnostic circuit conditions requires duplicating the desired conditions for each quality level individually.Re: Can wildcard quality work in circuit conditions and just sum all the per quality signals.
