Agricultural Tower Overlay - Please make a visual distinctinction between artificial and overgrowth soil

Post by Cygnet13 »

I've checked all the other Agri tower overlay posts but don't seem to come across this specific issue:

When I place a tower I cannot see which of the tiles will require artificial soil and which will require overgrowth soil.

Example: Image

Suggested solution: I was going to suggest to put the required soil icon on each tile, but the icons for artificial and overgrowth look very similar, so maybe only show the tiles that need overgrowth soil?

Example: Image

edit: I don't know why the images aren't showing but here are the links to imgur for them:

Gleba in general is very hard to read. Good luck spotting that olive blubber tile among the artificial yumako soil that's preventing you from using it as a tree spot.

It would be nice if you could use the map colors at any zoom level. It would make spotting these subtle distinctions easier.

Yeah trying to drive around with the normal car on Gleba was something I quickly discarded for the same reason. I was constantly hitting trees I couldn't really separate from the background/tileset once I started speeding up.
