[2.0.20] Desync constantly

I'm running version 2.0.20 on windows 10 with the DLC enabled but no mods.
I get constant and random (there is not a specific action that triggers it) desyncs no matter the save (tried playing with a friend and in multiple public servers).
For some reason, this issue does not happen when I play on my old laptop. This could indicate a problem with my desktop, however I have never had issues playing many other games.

Have you run memtest and such on your desktop yet? A hardware issue does seem like the most likely culprit. Another test might be to host the server on your desktop and connect with your laptop. I bet it would desync then also, when the server experienced bit errors. Make sure you back up the currently working save files of course.

Without reproduction steps there will be not much i can do given that the differences are only on steam generator and in electric network statistics not highlighting anything specific.
