Suggestion to Improve Korean Support: Search Functionality with Consonants Only

First of all, thank you for the incredible work you’ve put into Factorio! I recently saw your Factorio Friday Facts post mentioning language improvement suggestions, but I couldn’t get around to posting my feedback until now. I hope it’s not too late to share an idea that could enhance the Korean user experience.

I noticed that the current search functionality in Factorio doesn’t support searching for objects or items using only the initial consonants of Korean words. This is a very common feature in Korean software and games, as it’s intuitive and speeds up the search process.

For example:

Searching for "전기 엔진" (Electric Engine) would use "ㅈㄱ ㅇㅈ"
Similarly, "태양 전지판" (Solar Panel) could be found by typing "ㅌㅇ ㅈㅈㅍ"
This method is widely adopted in Korea, as users often remember initials rather than full words. Without this functionality, searching for items in Korean feels cumbersome compared to what we’re accustomed to.
