[2.0.20] Main Menu Background Simulation non-recoverable error

I just updated to the latest (non-experimental) version, and while watching the background simulations, one of them crashed immediately upon loading. I figure Wube is the scenario author in this case since the game is vanilla space-age, so no mods other than the expansions.

Error message is:

The scenario level caused a non-recoverable error.
Please report this error to the scenario author.
