[11.12] Placing a train causes a crash

The subject says it all, playing multiplayer and when I place a Diesel Locomotive, the whole game just hangs. Relaunched into single player, same bug. Remade a tiny train track segment, placed 2 signals.. still crashes. Is there a known bug regarding trains?

Yes, it is a bug in the current version, already fixed for the next release: https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... =30&t=8066

Meanwhile you can make sure you only have 1 wagon or locomotive whenever you place them, which seems to be a way around this.

Thanks times a million. The post you link did indeed specify a workaround so my trains are now on schedule Just really frustrating as hell to place them
