I have an odd one for you: Autosaves are not happening regularly. They do occur, but not on a predictable interval; sometimes they occur on the autosave schedule (10 minutes), but sometimes they do not occur for seemingly random amounts of time, does not appear to be multiples of the autosave time.
I have seen them go over 4 hours between autosaves, and then suddenly start saving every 10 minutes again for a few, and then stop again until the end of my session several hours later.
The first few autosaves always work, although the number that work initially is not fixed.
The log does not appear to have anything useful, but I've attached it just in case (with windows username removed). There is a crash at the bottom, which I am reporting separately.
I can provide the save if that is useful.
It is probably worth noting, I have not had any issues with autosaves prior to 2.0, and have not played 2.0 without the expansion.

That log file shows autosaves happening about every 33 minutes. Is your game speed consistent at 60 UPS, and doublecheck the autosave interval is 10 minutes? It might be helpful to upload another log of a longer session where you see the inconsistent durations.

I suspect it's the confusion between game-minutes and real-world minutes. If the game is not running at full speed (because the computer can't keep up, or you've built a lot) it will have longer pauses between auto-save running.

While the autosave being based on ticks and not actual time explains the 30-40 minute window instead of the 10 minute one I've set, a 4 hour pause (not in the log there, since I didn't think to report the issue until after a crash partway through an autosave cost me 30 minutes of Aquilo designing, since it's just autosaves and Factorio hasn't crashed on me in many years), wouldn't make any sense unless I was at 2.5 UPS for the whole time (my actual UPS is at about 12-20).
Restarting the session seemed to make it function normally again for a while, and this one has been functioning correctly for the better part of a week (real time) now, so I suspect it may have been patched, or might be a specific action (though that sounds unlikely as the 4-hour autosave gap happened while I was at work, and I had no large construction projects set up, just research).
Going to put in a suggestion for an information hover that explains the autosave uses game time and not real time, so that fewer people have that confusion.
Unless I can find a replication that causes autosaves to stop, I'll consider this user error or already patched. Thanks!
