Tooltip of 'read contents' checkbox states that trash slots should be available to circuit network.
Feeding the output of a biochamber into an arithmetic combinator shows that all slots except trash are being output to circuit network.
Closer testing shows that spoilage is shown in circuit network when the end product spoils, but not when nutrients spoil.

Given viewtopic.php?p=645907#p645907 and viewtopic.php?p=645532#p645532 i am going to say this is a duplicate since it is now possible to read fuel and when reading fuel a spent fuel inventory is included.
