[Technical Issues] Forums going into Write-only mode at midnight UTC
About 10 hours ago (around midnight UTC/GMT) The forums went down (nginx 502 bad gateway) and it was not fixed by refreshing. Obviously the problem has since been resolved, as I am able to post this topic. This post/topic is here as to inquire about the forum issues that happened at that time.

Yup, I've seen it too several times. The devs have commmented that it happens a lot. Not sure what they plan to do about it.
My mods: Multiple Unit Train Control, RGB Pipes, Shipping Containers, Rocket Log, Smart Artillery Wagons.

Forums went down again, was fixed approximately 2 minutes ago. Seems to be related to midnight UTC.

Update: This seems to put the forums in write-only mode for a bit. You can't read the topics, posts and replies you make while the forums are "down", but you still make them.

I noticed this for a couple minutes, and then got a post through (and everything seemed to work fine again) at 6:59 EST, so if this is a regular thing it's actually just before midnight UTC. I got a mix of 502 and 504 errors.
There are 10 types of people: those who get this joke and those who don't.
