I can't search on the mod portal. I'm leaving a post because there's no content that includes 429 in the previous post. I can't access the mod portal only in-game. I turned off the firewall, deleted the VPN, disabled the proxy, deleted the game, and reinstalled it, but there was no change. I'm not good with computers, so this was all I could do. I can access the Factorio site on the Internet without any problems, so I can manually apply mods. Please help me.
When you go into the mod tab, the screen just displays a red box in the mod list that says "Unable to searched on the mod portal"
I was properly logged in with my Steam account.

The 429 error happens when a lot of search requests come from the same IP. This error usually resolves itself after 1 or 24 hours.
bringing the oops to devops

Thank you, it was resolved in a day!

Rate limit needs an increase... triggered this by merely clicking through pages in mod browser and not even very many or particularly quickly. Really horrible timing for me since this was the only opportunity I'll have to do it for quite awhile.

Is there a preferred way to install a lot of mods by name at once? I put together a big list of mods to install - working on a personal mod to integrate many of them smoothly with some personal tweaks to Pyanodons - but I barely got 20% of the way through before getting 429 responses. Are we intended to download via browser instead of using the in-game mod tools?
