In particular allow restricting the targeting cone of railguns, or make them completely stationary - just constantly fire in front. As it stands the animation takes too long to utilize shooting speed, and sometimes they even get caught in endless retargetting loop causing huge asteroids to hit my platform - even with legendary railguns.
It would also be very useful to be able to restrict the maximum targetting distance along each axis separately for rocket turrets. My legendary rocket turrets cover a wide area on the sides of the platform and are wasting a lot of ammo. To the point where disabling half of the turrets has better performance. I'm actually unsure at this point if using anything other than common rocket turrets is better.

Yes, in space, sometimes you want to set a turret to guard just a sector, maybe 1/4 or 1/2 of whole circle. To avoid shooting not dangerous things, to save ammo, or to shoot things that are directly on platform way, instead of wasting ammo on asteroids on sides.

This is 8 times (!!!) lower than their maximum combined theoretical consumption of ~0.86/s * 30 * 60 == 1548. Yes, when going past 300km/s it does get regularly hit by huge asteroids.
