When connected to a quality substation, the Red/Green wire should be able to connect to anything within its supply area range.
It’s great to have epic substations and more space between poles, but they become less useful if additional poles are needed to connect items to the network circuit.

I agree with other topic (120638) and so this is a duplicate of a Not a bug.
Its not wire reach limited because of the substations, it is wire reach limited because of entities themselves not allowing for longer wires.
