Thank you for all of the bug fixes and features implemented so far, I really appreciate that.
Lately I came across an issue with headphones that crashes the game, so:
- Starting the game with already turned on bluetooth headphones works.
- Reconnecting the headphones and selecting them in menu to have a sound again in the game does not work - it crashes the game. I expect to select headphones, sound starts working, then switching back to default. This way I can have a sound without restarting the Factorio.
This happens in version 2.0.15. Selecting reconnected headphones was working fine in previous versions.
2.0.10 was fine sure, but I'm not 100% sure for versions like 2.0.13, 2.0.14 due to automatic steam updates.
Below I described 2 scenarios to reproduce the issue.
Fresh Game:
1. Start the game while bluetooth headphones are turned off.
2. While in Main Menu go to
Code: Select all
Settings -> Sound -> Preffered output
4. There is no headphones in the list of Preffered output, so go back to Main Menu and repeat point 2.
5. The Headphones are visible in the list 6. Click on the headphones and the game crashes.
Existing game:
The situation is quite similar.
1. Connect the headphones
2. Start the game, sound works.
3. Load the save
4. Go afk and put the headphones on the table for instance
5. Headphones disconnects from PC to save power after some time.
6. Turn on the headphones, they reconnect to the PC - you can hear the music from Spotify, but not sound in Factorio.
7. In the game, go to
Code: Select all
Settings -> Sound -> Preferred output
