Small tooltips for small blueprints

Post by SupplyDepoo »

Blueprint tooltips can be unnecessarily wide due to the description for super-force build. The description is not even accurate (normal force build already places terrain), and doesn't mention the most useful feature (placement of underground belts). Also "force build" doesn't have any description and the vast majority of players were able to suss it. I believe players can figure out what super force build does by the time they're seasoned blueprint users.

I actually think the tooltip is a useful reminder of a feature. If anything, I'd just make the text's maximum width smaller so it's easier to read. If you have a smaller blueprint, you'd want a smaller tooltip anyways, but for large blueprints it gets hard to visually track a long line of text. I'd also add a "tips and tricks" entry for both of these - neither one is explained in the game at all, and I think they should be, for new players.
