Tutorial Trouble

So, just started a new campaign, first time playing. Only problem is, the little window that pops up, and tells me to press TAB to close. Problem is, my TAB key hasn't worked in about 6 years. I checked the controls in-game, but couldn't actually find where to change it, if that is even possible. Anyone able to help?

FYI: This is a laptop, and using a USB keyboard isn't generally possible with where I use it.

It is "Confirm message", fifth from the bottom in the right column on the "Game" tab in control settings.
