Relevant Information:
Platform: Headless server on an Ubuntu 24.04 LTS VM
Game Version: Currently 2.0.11 upgraded from 2.0.7
Issue: Late last night two of my friends were playing when the server suddenly disconnected them. When they tried to rejoin they were met with the error "Deserialisation error, target with id 1284683648 doesn't exist". When I woke up the next morning I checked the other autosaves hoping that I could roll back a save and everything would be fine. To my unfortunate surprise all of them seem to have been saved over with the same error in succession after the server kicked everyone.
I upgraded the server 3 days before this issue so I don't believe it is related. From my earlier research about the issue is that somehow someone or something on the server picks up an item with an ID that doesn't exist but since all of my autosaves are corrupted I can't go back and try to find out what specifically caused this...
My plea:
Is there any dev or technical angel that can recover our save with 235 hours? I promise to use the golden rule of 3 for backing up from now on.
