[2.0.14] Input Limits of Production Buildings Can Be Exceeded

Post by makrom »

When the input slot of a production building is below the allowed maximum capacity, a whole stack can be added on top by manually clicking on the building and then move the stack from the inventory into that slot.
For example, an assembling machine producing railroad tracks should be able to hold a maximum of 62 stones. But when there are 61 or less stones in the input slot, a whole stack of 50 stones can be added, bringing the total number up to 111.
With furnaces the bug is slightly different. They too should hold a maximum of 62 stones, but when manually putting stones into the furnace by moving a stack from the inventory to the input slot, no more than 50 stones can be on the input slot. However, when ctrl-clicking on a stack of stone in the inventory, the maximum capacity of the input slot is 62 as expected.

The effect is pretty minor, you don't gain or lose any items in the process.
