Hello guys,
I have a problem with transporting items from Nauvis to Vulcanus. The issue is that the cargo landing pad on Vulcanus doesn’t automatically receive the requested items. My question is: how can I set it up so that whenever Vulcanus needs items like Blue belts, the space platform on Nauvis loads up with these items and flies to Vulcanus to unload them?

Re: Problem with sending items from planet to planet
Does your platform receive the blue belts splitters & co ?
It should be "requesting" those from "Nauvis" in the logistic tab.

Re: Problem with sending items from planet to planet
My base on Vulcanus only receives items automatically if my space station happens to be there with the needed items. I’m wondering if I could place a random item as a ghost on Vulcanus so that it would eventually appear when a rocket and the space station bring it there.
Re: Problem with sending items from planet to planet
You need to set your platform hub to request those items from Nauvis too.
It is not suffiicient to just set the target cargo landing pad to request those items. The target cargo landing pad will only request it from platforms if they have it loaded.
But as said, to make the platform load the item in the first place you also have to set the platform requests for that item in the platform hub. And be careful about which planet you set it to request items to the platform; because you can specifically set a planet for a platform request. Some items have different default planets set (for reasons you might discover later).

Re: Problem with sending items from planet to planet
Not exactly clear without the logistics settings of the parts.
That said I do not think the logistics are transitive. It will not request from planet A to planet B through a platform that is travelling between them. I had to setup a platform that asks for then from A. Leaves when full. Goes to planet B. Leaves when anything is empty.
Like trains work and all the annoyances when they have multiple items and making unnecessary trips
AAI and the Space Exploration mods had an interplanetary circuit signal sender/receiver. You may be able to hook those up to send requests from planet B back to planet A and insert them into rockets. Now that we have the logistics reading requested items it would be much cleaner too.
