Fulgora: Concetre?

Post by schorsch_76 »

Hi,
moved today morning from Vulcanus to Fulgora for the first time. There i struggle to find/get concrete. I get some from the scrap processing but by far not enough. Now i added a Nauvis -> Fulgora hauler for concrete. Am i missing something?

Concrete ? :lol:

Sorry i mean no that seem something logical to do if you miss concrete in Fulgora. At first when you setup the recycler they may cost more concrete that what you can find on scrap, you could always get more scrap, and deal with the byproducts, or supplement Fulgora with what's missing

Well, be a little bit patient. I think there totally is enough concrete, it just is a bit annoying if you want to get a rocket silo up & running immediately (or as said more recyclers) and you have wait for it to happen. But eventually you will have so much concrete that you will dump it all into the recycler to prevent the belts from clogging.

There is no direct concrete but it is not difficult to make if you break things down a few levels.
Scrap
-> Bricks -> Iron Ore -> Concrete
-> Ice -> Water -> Concrete
-> Bricks -> Concrete

*DOH* I should build the elevated rail segments on nauvis and not on fulgora. :oops:

EDIT: Double *DOH* Rocketcapacity of elevated Rail: 1 :|

Part of the Fulgora challenge, with that single resource (+ heavy oil / electricity) separated into 12, is that you will always be missing something if you start heavily producing some specific item.

This happens even in vanilla non-SA Factorio (think stone for massive wall projects), but is of course much more muted there, especially outside Death World settings...

True, but gladly one can always import the bottleneck stuff from other planets where one can more easily build to produce more of something specifically. ^^

Yeah, which makes space platforms actually useful for transporting items (while still being somewhat expensive), so this design works even better !
