Frame dip on Steam Deck

I am playing factorio space age on my steam deck, and every 20-30 seconds the ups and fps will dip down to 1 for just 2 or three frames. This is pretty annoying to play with. When the frame rate is not dropping it is running at a rock solid 60 ups/fps.

My world is not that big, i just went to vulcanus and set up metallurgy science, so the performance of the steam deck shouldn't be the problem.

I have also previously played and finished a fully modded seablock run, where my ups only dropped to around 55 when I was in super late game, so again I don't think the power of the steam deck is the problem.

Does anyone else playing on the steam deck or on Linux have the same issue?
