Repair speed should increase with quality repair packs
My suggestion is simple: have the "repair speed" attribute of repair packs increase with higher quality.
Most entities in the game have more health at a higher quality level, meaning they will take longer to fully repair. To counteract this, and to give a reason to make higher quality repair packs, repair speed should also increase with higher quality repair packs.

I think increasing the Repair Speed for higher quality repair packs could make them much more worth upgrading, along with being quite balanced. As it stands, high quality repair packs only increases durability; even though it's a significant increase it doesn't seem worth it to deal with the different tier levels for such a cheap item. It functions effectively as a lesser productivity module.
Repair speed is already a listed statistic in the menu, but isn't currently affected by quality. Being able to have faster repairs by hand or with a fleet of personal robots would feel really good in my opinion. It might even find wider use with minimizing the time robots spend repairing an outer defensive wall.
It feels like a small change that could provide a nice incentive to increase quality on an otherwise passing-thought item.

Quality repair packs should have higher repair speeds
Would be handy mid game to repair tanks more quickly and possibly provide another way to make an under equipped space platform get through its first journey

Yeah, I've never felt like I needed more repair per pack, ever. But speed would be actually useful. It would probably reduce construction bot attrition at your defenses. Not that I'm short on those, either, but fewer alerts about it would be fantastic.

Make quality repair packs repair faster
Currently quality repair packs only have greater durability, which isn't that useful, especially since by the time you have quality repair packs you already have more than enough resources to mass-produce them, and their stack size is very high which makes durability even more redundant.
Instead, what if repair packs had repair speed boosted by quality? This would be useful and give your more reasons to invest in it.
For example, after attacking a biter base, your turrets/vehicle would be damaged. Repairing them manually with normal repair packs takes a long time, so using quality variants would be much better and less tedious.

This would also be really helpful on space platforms, where the slow repair speed becomes much more apparent when your ship takes a lot of damage at once.
I agree that even before you've unlocked quality, you can usually mass-produce repair packs at such a big volume that increased durability isn't important
