TL;DR;
I like to have an option "Inf." on the requesting part. This would work with "Any" quality setting, right?
Currently, when you select "any" quality, you can not request items - only trash them (see picture above). There is a good use case "clean up chest" (or "personal equipment chest") that would benefit from the ability to just collect every single item regardless of type from the whole network.
There is a workaround possible: You would have to set up a request for each quality individually and set the amount to an absurd high number, but that is really a click-heavy nightmare.
"Request infinite" with new Quality "Any"

The reason you can't request "any" quality is a performance and code complexity one. The logistics system is not setup to handle it and can only request specific items.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
Re: "Request infinite" with new Quality "Any"
But you CAN already request any quality. Its just annoying to set up.
Re: "Request infinite" with new Quality "Any"
I can understand why the code complexity might be an issue, with counting different qualities and so on. But what about a macro, where if you make a request for any quality, it automatically creates a request at each quality in the filter?Rseding91 wrote: Sat Oct 26, 2024 8:30 pm The reason you can't request "any" quality is a performance and code complexity one.
