Controller - Bumper + button combinations

Factorio is a game with a lot of keybindings, and for a controller there are not enough buttons, or maybe it is.. or at least can be:

In some games combinations of buttons are used and it works great. Combinations holding left bumper + any other button gives one more layer of combinations.
You can do the same for right bumper and both bumpers. This will give 3 more layers of possible combinations (!).

This is not possible today.

Yes one can do stuff in the steam system (for those who use steam) but that doesn't cover everyone,
and it is unecessary complicated.

Sorry to say this but choosing "controller" in the panel today is very limiting. Current system is simply not good enough in my opinion.
