Performance down with space age

Hi,

Just downloaded the DLC and I my FPS/UPS is dropping with moments of lag. The other version ran great on my laptop, but I have just started a vanilla game with all default settings and it not running well at all. I haven't even built anything yet, so I'm concerned it is only going to get worse.

Any suggestions on getting better performance like I had with v1?

I was able to make a mega base with no issues at all before.

Your system should easily handle regular playthrought of Factorio, both Base and SA. Make sure you're not overheating and don't have any power saving settings enabled.

Is it only FPS dropping or both?

Both, I requested a refund for now. Bummer, but appears that others are not having this issue so I will see what I can find out.

I uninstalled space age and started a new game at 2.0 and everything is fine as far as FPS/UPS

Bummer I would of liked playing the new version.
